Czech Premodern Championship 2026: Terrageddon Wins, Top 8 Decklists and Results
Michal Smutný won the Czech Premodern Championship 2026 in Prague with Terrageddon, beating Tomáš Koten's Goblins in the final. Top 8 results and all 15 published decklists.
191 players, eight rounds of Swiss, and a Terrageddon deck at the end of it.
Michal Smutný won the Czech Premodern Championship 2026 (Czech Premodern Nationals) in Prague on Saturday, September 26. He beat Tomáš Koten and his mono-red Goblins in the final. Both Stiflenought pilots, Jindřich Polák and Jiri Moravec, went out in the semifinals.
Below: the Top 8 results, all eight Top 8 decklists, and the seven other lists published from the event.
Seven archetypes in eight seats. Stiflenought was the only deck with two copies, and both made the Top 4. The two lists are close to identical: the maindecks differ by one card (Moravec played a Brain Freeze where Polák played a second Thwart) and the sideboards by two.
Smutný’s winning list runs 26 lands plus 4 Mox Diamond. Four of those lands are Wasteland, two are Rishadan Port, and there’s a single City of Traitors, next to 3 Armageddon and 4 Terravore. Terrageddon came into the weekend eighth on our September tier list with a 6.6% share, so this is a big result for it.
Koten’s Goblins is as straightforward as it gets: 23 lands (16 Mountain, 4 Rishadan Port, 3 Wasteland) and no splash. Goblins also made the Top 8 here last year.
Last year’s championship looked very different. In June 2025, 177 players showed up, Niklas Scholten won with Mono Blue Control, and Replenish put three decks into the Top 8. This year there’s no Replenish in the Top 8 and the field grew to 191.
Every list above has a Copy button. Paste it into the Sideboard Planner to write your in/out plan for each matchup, on the play and on the draw, or start from our reference list for the winner: plan against Terrageddon.
At the event, the Match Tracker logs each round in a few seconds and shows your sideboard plan for the matchup you’re about to play. Looking for the next tournament near you? Check the events board.
