Classic UB control with a single, terrifying threat. Psychatog wins through math: with a full hand and a stocked graveyard, a single attack often deals 10+ unblockable damage. The deck plays a pure control game until it’s ready to win in one swing.

Counterspell, Annul, and Duress form the permission-disruption suite. Counterspell handles anything on the stack, Annul snipes enchantments and artifacts at a discount, and Duress strips the most dangerous card from their hand on turn one.

Accumulated Knowledge chains into itself — the first draws one, the second draws two, and by the fourth you’re drawing four cards for 1U. Fact or Fiction splits five cards into two piles and lets you pick the better one. Gush draws two for free by bouncing Islands, and every card drawn feeds the Tog.

Smother handles creatures with mana value 3 or less — most of the format’s threats. Engineered Plague comes in from the sideboard to shut down tribal decks like Goblins and Elves.

The kill is elegant: when you’ve accumulated enough cards in hand and graveyard, attack with Psychatog, discard your hand (+1/+1 per card), then exile cards from your graveyard in pairs (+1/+1 each pair). A hand of 7 and a graveyard of 20 means Psychatog swings for 18. One attack, game over.

Polluted Delta and Underground River fix the mana perfectly. Impulse digs four deep for the exact answer you need. The deck rewards patience and precise math — if you can count to 20, you can win with Tog.
