Replenish: Sideboard Guide (from Brian Siu's primer)
Enchantress
Plans adapted from Brian Siu's Replenish primer (March 2026). Your best matchup: you put Opalescence and Parallax Wave together faster than they build their engine. With Meddling Mage, name Argothian Enchantress or Enchantress's Presence in game 1, and Tormod's Crypt after sideboarding.
Elves
Opalescence plus Parallax Wave exiles their whole board for good, so survive the early turns and combo. Swords is for their key mana creatures. Keep Web in if you see Rishadan Port.
The Rock
Trading one for one can't keep up with Replenish bringing everything back. Frantic Search comes out for the long game. Mage comes out too: their green creatures outclass a 2/2 and there is no single spell worth naming. Exalted Angel takes its place.
Sligh
They can only race you. Ancient Tomb's damage costs too much here. Name Lightning Bolt with Meddling Mage so it lives to block Jackal Pup, then Fireblast or Ball Lightning late. A face-down Angel that eats a Bolt is fine. Each sideboard card just has to trade for one of theirs until you combo.
Landstill
Full transformation into a midrange threat deck. Be patient: your last Replenish will resolve. Counterspell can't stop cycling Decree of Silence, and the cycle trigger counters a spell. Don't run out a turn 2 Mage without follow-up plays; name whatever your hand can't already beat.
Psychatog
Same plan as Landstill: cut the velocity, bring in threats and Defense Grid. Your threat density outlasts their answers.
BW Control
Their discard and removal can't keep pace with Replenish getting your enchantments back. Exalted Angel is strong after sideboarding.
Red Ponza
Protect your mana. Tsabo's Web keeps Rishadan Port from untapping. Mages out, Angels in.
Goblins
It comes down to surviving the first three turns. Mage is weak here: Goblin Piledriver has protection from blue, so Mage can't block it. Hydroblast on a turn 1 Goblin Lackey is the biggest play you can make.
Terrageddon / Quiet Spec Oath
Watch for Sylvan Library and Armageddon. A plan for Armageddon can be holding extra lands in hand instead of playing a fourth, or getting ahead on board with Exalted Angel so their Armageddon hurts them more than you.
Stiflenought
Read their build first: Mishra's Factory? Dreadnoughts after sideboarding? Brain Freeze? The direction is the control transformation, but which cards you trim depends on that read. With Mage, name Phyrexian Dreadnought or Stifle.
Replenish (mirror)
Mostly a race. Get a Seal of Cleansing on the table early so you can answer their Decree of Silence.
Stasis
Seal of Cleansing answers both Stasis and Black Vise. Full transformation, like against Landstill.
Devourer Combo
The hardest common matchup: they goldfish faster than you can interact. Keep the combo and swap Web and Swords for disruption.
